Over 90 percent of home shoppers begin their search online. If they start out working with an agent they will likely use that agent’s personal or company website to search for homes. All of the information on your home is available to any proprietary website for publication from our local MLS (multiple listing service). Your listing agent only has direct control over the way your home is presented in the local MLS, the listing agent’s website(s) and on Realtor.com, the official website of the National Association of Realtors. These three internet sources are the most powerful marketing tools for your home and I maximize your exposure in each of them.
In addition to “premium placement” in Realtor.com, my listings include direct contact information to my cell phone and mobile email. If I am unable to answer a call I ALWAYS reply within 15 minutes or less. Capturing online buyers requires immediate responses to their inquiries. My listings also include a convenient link to your home’s custom walk-through video, if applicable.
Zillow is now the most widely used Real Estate search tool, many other consumer websites and real estate brokerage sites like Zillow draw information from our local MLS and present it in their own formats. While these websites do expose your home to millions of potential buyers, they are primarily designed to generate leads for real estate agents who are happy to sell ANY house to the buyer. I maximize the power of the internet in as many ways and places as possible to generate buyers for your home.
My own website: FortWorthTexasRealEstate.com is the #1-Rated real estate search site in North Texas. Our team of 13 Buyer’s Agents are currently working with buyers in all price-ranges, from $20,000 to $1,000,000+ who found our website while searching for homes on the internet. Most agent websites are about the agent (advertising for listing appointments), my website is about real estate (advertising homes to potential buyers).
